How to report copyright infringement or request a content correction.

Our policy

Snap Planets respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects the same from anyone whose material appears on this site. We will respond to clear, valid notices of alleged copyright infringement in line with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512.

How to submit a notice

If you believe content on Snap Planets infringes your copyright, email admin@SnapPlanetsBio.com with the subject line “DMCA Takedown Request.”

What to include

To be considered a valid notice, please include:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
  • Identification of the material you believe is infringing, including the specific page URL(s) on this site.
  • Your contact information — name, email address, and, if available, a phone number or mailing address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

Notices missing these elements may take longer to process, or may need to be resubmitted with the missing information.

What happens next

We’ll review each notice we receive. If it’s valid, we’ll remove or disable access to the identified material promptly, and where applicable, make a reasonable effort to notify whoever the content is attributed to.

Counter-notices

If you believe material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you can submit a counter-notice to the same email address, including a similarly detailed statement identifying the material, your contact information, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed in error.

Non-copyright removal requests

For factual errors, privacy concerns, or other content issues that aren’t copyright-related, you don’t need to use the DMCA process above — just email us directly, describe the issue, and include the page URL. We correct anything we get wrong.
